Gutter Cleaning vs Gutter Protection

Gutter cleaning can be a pain in the neck and this is why some people decide to install gutter protection. I have seen gutters full up with leaves after only 2 weeks of us cleaning them. In such cases we may recommend gutter guard. If your property has many trees around than gutter guard may be the answer. Gutter guard is not always the only answer though.

Some guttering systems will require only a once every 5 year clean and in this case gutter guard may be a bit over the top. A few simple downpipe strainers could be the answer to your blockage issue. However regular gutter & downpipe cleaning is always a good idea for protecting your home.  

Be aware that gutter guard is generally used to stop leaf entry into the gutter.
